Following advice from The Assistant Director of Public Protection, we have been advised that we are an essential service and that we should stay open. We will therefore continue to operate with reduced opening hours and strict measures to ensure social distancing.
Note: We are close on Bank Holiday Monday
Please continue to check this website as our opening hours are subject to change due to staff shortages.
During this difficult time we are monitoring Government guidelines and taking precautions for the health and well-being of our staff and customers. We are regularly sanitising commonly-touched areas, paying special attention to machine door handles, soap hoppers, coin mechanisms, chairs & benches. Be reassured that any employee who feels ill has been instructed to stay at home and self-isolate. We ask that if you, our customers are feeling unwell, please postpone coming to the launderette until you are feeling better and are virus free.
Please follow these guidelines from the Government:
To minimise the possibility of dispersing virus through the air, do not shake dirty laundry. Wash items as appropriate in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. All dirty laundry can be washed in the same load. If you do not have a washing machine, wait a further 72 hours after your 7-day (for individual isolation) or 14-day isolation period (for households) has ended when you can then take the laundry to a public launderette.
